Where did I come from and what am I supposed to be doing?

“All day I think about it, then at night I say it.
Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing?
I have no idea.
My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that,
And I intend to end up there.”

I am sure you must have asked yourself these questions. I have. Many times. Big questions. And a hint of an answer:

“Within each of us there is a core—our essence, our true being. That is the place of God who is within us. Finding that essence is our return to God. It is the purpose of our lives, and even our most painful experiences can serve that purpose.”

Marianne Williamson

Life is a journey sweet friends. A journey towards our true being. A journey towards the divine spark that is in all of us. It is a journey through the jungle of the mind. Cutting out patterns and belief systems that cover our light. Until it reveals itself. Our essence. Our true being. Pure and crystal clear. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Let us make this quest our priority. Every moment of our lives. Let us understand that we are all on this journey. Let us see the beauty in each of us and celebrate it. Let us understand that everything that someone does is either “love or a call for love” as Marianne Williamson describes beautifully in her book “A return to love”. And let us understand that love is the appropriate response. Always.

Namaste dear friends.

“My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth, beauty and peace within you because it is also within me. In sharing these things we are united, we are the same. We are one.”
